This area requires a lot of attention to detail, good memory, to keep in mind the syntax of languages, sets of pre-written functions, the ability to think on several levels at the same time or to abstract. All these above mentioned skills can be successfully mastered only through repetitive practice, therefore a programming internship can be very useful for you as a future programmer.
